MY GARDEN MAINTENANCE SERVICE

DUE TO BUILDING A BASE OF HAPPY CLIENTS -  I AM CURRENTLY BUSY TO CAPACITY WITH REGULAR WORK. THIS MEANS I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ON REGULAR WORK WITH NEW CLIENTS.

​HOWEVER - I AM AVAILABLE FOR WORK OVER THE WINTER MONTHS. THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO GET ON TOP OF A GARDEN WHICH HAS GOT OVERGROWN - READY FOR THE GROWING SEASON.

  

I am a gardener and  will help you maintain your garden the way you want it to be. I do grass cutting, weeding, pruning, planting, hedge cutting, clearing leaves etc. A 1 hour garden tidy will make a World of difference. Overgrown gardens welcome. I am a wholistic gardener - who can work on the whole space. If you just want someone with a hedge trimmer to cut down everything without thinking - i am not your man. I do things with a bit more care.

£30 an hour. Regular or one off appointments.

£85 for 3 hours (half day)

£170 for 6 hours (1 day)

I am based in Ware and will take clients in the surrouding area. Working locally keeps my costs down but i will consider work in wider area  - so please get in touch.

Let me know if you have a garden waste bin (green/brown) as all garden waste should ideally go in this or a compost pile. I will cut small branches etc down for maximum fit.

Twigs and branches can be trimmed and make a great natural feature -  or left to decompose naturally behind a hedge. I am not able to take garden waste away. This means i can charge less. Obviously i am happy to bag up garden waste for you to fill your garden waste bin each week when it is emptied -  or for you to take to the recycling centre.

I also do not use chemicals such as weed killers or insecticides. I believe this is better for the health of a garden - an attitude shared by the RHS.

I am able to work with you to naturally evolve and edit your garden to make it into a space you want to use. Not only something beautiful to look out onto but an extension of the house that is used by whole household (including pets if you have them).

ABOUT DAVID​

• RHS level 2 certificate in Horticulture with excellent plant knowledge. I have been working as a Gardener professionally since 2019. 

• professional, reliable, friendly, hard working and respectful to all people. Appointment time always provided. 

• Wildlife friendly, all electric power tools (plug in),  I do not use pesticides or weedkillers.

• I have insurance

• I also have experience of working as a Horticultural Therapist & Support Worker with older individuals and those with SEND. Most older people have put a lot of time & love into their gardens and can be very apprehensive about asking a stranger to help manage it. I am always respectful of this and work together with my clients to ensure their garden needs are met.

• I am safeguarding trained to level 3 and have an annually updated DBS check.​
